Dorothy and My Two Toto’s

I have a love/hate relationship with storms. There are times when I love to curl up and listen to a heavy rain storm with thunder crashing. God’s creations, even storms are truly amazing! However, when that storm includes lightning, or even worse….a tornado, I get nervous. Growing up in Southwest Virginia we were protected by our mountains and never really worried about tornados or their devastating power. It’s a whole other ball game in the deep South though. The remnants of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Fay are heading our way and we have yet another tornado to worry about. This is not a watch but a warning, meaning that a tornado was spotted somewhere close. Yikes! My dogs are hiding out in their cage and I’m glued to the weather channel. Please pray for the weather to pass by with no one getting hurt.

Melissa - All this time I thought you lived in Georgia too…I guess you’re pretty close. I’m sick of this rain already, though I know we needed some!

lisette - It’s pointing to where we are on the map. :) I didn’t think of it as symbolic! And thankfully the storm has passed over!

jg - Funny picture there. Does the arrow point to the house or to the storm. Is this a symbolic picture? I thought this was funny. Hope all is well.
