A Walk Down Memory Lane

I had not been to a Virginia Tech football game since Fall 2004 (before I graduated in Spring 2005), so when our friend Chris called us two days before the game to say that his parents weren’t able to use their season tickets for the next game, we jumped at the chance to go! Our 8 hour road trip to Blacksburg, Virginia arriving at 2:30am was well worth it to see the Hokies defeat Georgia Tech 20-17!! We were able to spend time with family and friends and breathe in that fresh mountain air. I knew I had missed VT, but walking on campus, tailgating, yelling at the game, exploring the bookstore, and just being there, made me miss it even more. My four years at Tech flew by. I can still remember my Dad telling me to enjoy high school because it would be gone before I knew it. And now here I am having graduated from college 3 years ago. Where does the time go?!

We had a blast and we can’t wait for our next chance to catch another game! Go Hokies!!!

On Sunday before Tim and I left, my brother Aaron and I ventured to the drillfield so I could take some pictures of the main building on campus – Burruss Hall. I’m planning to use either the first or last one in my diploma frame. :)
