I had the pleasure of shooting Aimee & Loreto’s wedding with my beautiful friend Cristi Owen on September 12th in St. Louis. She called me the Thursday before in need of a second-shooter due to a mix-up in the dates with her original shooter. I was more than willing to help a friend in need, so I boarded a plane in Atlanta (on September 11th none the less) en route to St. Louis. It was a whirlwind weekend, but Cristi and I had so much fun. We traveled to the top of the St. Louis arch (who knew you could actually go in it?!), shot a gorgeous wedding, and scoured stores until we found the perfect Christmas ornaments to remember our trip by. :) It was definitely a fun and exhausting weekend!
I loved everything about this wedding! Aimee and Loreto were two of the most gracious people I have ever met. They were constantly asking Cristi and I if we needed anything, seated us with the wedding guests for plated dinners, and asked us numerous times throughout the day if we were okay and having fun. It was their wedding and their day, but their hearts were wide open. Here are my favorites from the day. Don’t forget to check out Cristi’s take on the day!
Little Flower Catholic Church was stunning inside and out!
The sanctuary was circular and featured amazing details.
The ceremony featured Catholic as well as Filipino traditions which were beautiful to witness.
