Lindsey & Cody {Nashville, TN Wedding Photographer}

Lindsey and Cody – two people who are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. They were married this past Saturday at Scarritt-Bennett’s Wightman Chapel in Nashville, TN. Surrounded by family and friends they pledged their love for one another and then danced the night away at Houston Station. Lindsey & Cody thank you for being amazing people and I hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon in St. Lucia!

Lindsey and Cody chose not to see each other prior to their 7pm ceremony. They exchanged gifts and held hands with a door between them. So sweet!

Lindsey is the sister of my good photographer friend (and fellow Alpha Kappa Camera sister!) Shea Halliburton. Lindsey is also my hairdresser and she’s the best in Clarksville. :) I was thrilled when Shea asked me to shoot Lindsey’s wedding! I was able to work alongside of two other fabulous photographers – Sarah B. Gilliam and Cass Moore. Sarah photographed the guys while I worked with the girls hence why you see so many of the girls in this blog post!

Cheryl {Bridals – Clarksville, TN}

We scheduled Cheryl’s bridal session after her wedding. She was up for anything and not worried at all about getting her dress a little dirty. We started out with an old tobacco barn, ventured into an open field with a fence that was very “country” and then ended up on some land where Cheryl grew up. I love these images! Cheryl, I will say it again and again…you are gorgeous girl!

Cheryl’s gown was purchased at Something Blue Bridal Shoppe in Clarksville, TN.

Blair Bridals {University of Alabama}

First off, I love this session! L.O.V.E….love! When I initially met with Blair for our booking consultation, she mentioned that she was a pitcher for the University of Alabama softball team in college. I almost fell out of my chair when she said she wanted to shoot her bridal session on the softball field in Tuscaloosa. Wedding dress, red dirt, and a fearless bride? Umm…YES, please! I have been holding onto this session since November, almost seven months, and I am so excited to be able to share them now. Blair married her fiance Bryan this past weekend in a gorgeous ceremony at the Garrett Bullock House in Columbus, GA. Now that her dress has been revealed at her wedding, I can show off how beautiful she looked in her bridals!

We started off around campus before heading over to the field…

It’s hard to tell, but we had a huge sheet of clear plastic tucked underneath Blair’s dress. Even though she was willing to wear her dress on the field, we didn’t want it to get dirty before her wedding!

See the skull earrings? They’re lucky and Blair wore them in every game she pitched. I love when clients make their session unique to them.

And just for fun…see the girl in the photo second from the right? #11 – that’s Blair! We just had to get this shot. :)

Third aVenue South Shoot {Nashville, TN} – Clarksville, TN Photographer

Two weeks ago I met up with some photographers at Third aVenue South in Nashville for a fun day of shooting! I arrived only knowing one other photographer and left with quite a few new friends. I love days like that! We were lucky enough to have models, babies, and musicians to shoot, a videographer, and the up and coming fashion designer Brooke Shipley on hand.

Karen’s Day After Session

After Jessica and I shot Alex & Thomas’ wedding in Mobile, AL we woke up early to meet with Karen and her husband for a Day After session. They drove over 3 hours to meet us and we had so much fun running around to different locations. We even got hit by a sprinkler in one spot! Thank goodness we didn’t get soaked but we had a good laugh. :) I love how these turned out!

Cara’s Bridals – Clarksville, TN Photographer

I have been waiting for a few weeks to debut Cara’s gorgeous bridals on my blog. She and Tim were married this past Saturday, and I’m so excited to be able to post these. We shot at the Martha Washington Inn in Abingdon, Virginia. It was absolutely freezing outside, so we had the entire session indoors. The Martha Washington Inn is amazing and I encourage you to check out the website to learn more about it’s history. :) Cara is incredibly beautiful inside and out and I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites. I had so much fun with her, her mom, and her sister (one of my very best friends) Lauren. Lauren is also a photographer and tagged along to capture some amazing photos. Check out her blog to see her take on the session.

Cara choose the photo below as a 16×24 print to display at her reception. It turned out beautifully!
