Amy + Nick – Just for Fun {Clarksville, TN Photographer}

Amy & Nick are so much fun – period! You can not be around these two without laughing. They’re sarcastic and hilarious and that always mixes well with gullible me. We had a great time running around downtown Clarksville for some “just for fun” photos. I met Amy this past Easter at a military wives luncheon and instantly liked her sweet personality. Nick just returned home from a year long deployment to Afghanistan a few months ago. I truly believe the friends I’ve made through the Army are some of the strongest people I know! Amy and Nick thank you for letting me document your love just because. :)

We stopped in front of New South Coffee Company downtown. It’s a fun new coffee shop that just opened!

They ordered a 20×40 canvas of the image below and I cannot wait for it to be hanging on their wall!

Dance off anyone?! We all couldn’t stop laughing at Nick’s moves!

At their viewing Nick said this about the photo below: “If I could sum up our relationship in one photo this would be it!” I love, love, love hearing that!

Jason & Sarah {Clarksville, TN Engagement Photographer}

Jason and Sarah – I cannot say enough about how wonderful these two are. Sarah has a huge heart and would do anything to help anyone. Jason is hilarious and you can’t be around him without him making you laugh. They fit together perfectly. My husband Tim and I were lucky enough to be introduced to them by mutual friends when we first moved to Clarksville in December 2009. Jason and Sarah are both in the military and as it turned out Jason and Tim worked together for a short while. Sarah deployed to Afghanistan a few months after we met (Feb 2010) and the boys soon followed in June. Sarah kept me sane while Tim was gone and had limited internet/phone access. She always let me know that he was okay and for that I’m forever grateful. She and Jason decided early in the deployment to book me for their wedding and I was so excited! They’re planning a gorgeous beach wedding in the Florida Keys on Veteran’s Day this November. Pretty fitting right? I love these two and if you ever get the chance to meet them then you’ll be the lucky one. :)

Jason is a huge University of Tennessee fan and Sarah is…well not. But she’s a good sport and wore this “gaudy orange” t-shirt because she loves her fiance! :)

Lindsey & Daron {Engagement}

Lindsey and I connected the moment she first contacted me. We met through Facebook because we were both members of the MCCC Military Wives page while our husbands were stationed at Fort Benning. We emailed back and forth and I was so excited when she booked me for their engagement session! We actually bumped into each other at the Commanding General’s reception and that was the first time we met in person. Lindsey and Daron are getting married in the Virgin Islands in February. Unfortunately I will not be shooting their wedding, but I know their wedding day is going to be amazing! Thank you both for being such a sweet couple and I wish you nothing by love and happiness in your marriage!

Lindsey said the picture below felt very Edward and Bella from Twilight. :)

Blair & Bryan {Engagement} – Clarksville, TN Photographer

I have been looking forward to Blair and Bryan’s engagement session since they booked me this past May. We decided to wait for cooler weather and Fall colors and I’m happy we did! Blair and Bryan are so adorable together and I enjoyed getting to know them during their shoot. Here’s what Blair wrote on their wedding page about how they met…

“Bryan and Blair went to the same high school together. We knew who each other was at the time, but I’m not really sure if we ever officially met. At Jordan, we both had significant others…but we thought each was cute :) After graduating and going our separate ways for a few years, one night would bring us back together. After dinner with one of my girlfriends we decided to go and have a drink at a popular place called Locos. When we got there we sat down and I saw him sitting at the bar with one of his friends. I was like is that Bryan? And she was like yes. He was looking so handsome and I guess he saw me too because he sent over a drink :) Of course being the light/non drinker that I am, I didn’t really want it! He came over and talked to us and we have been going strong ever since :)”

Adorable huh? ;) Thanks for a fun shoot you two and I cannot wait for your wedding in June!

Megan & Travis {Mini-Session} – Photographer Clarksville, TN

Megan and Travis were so much fun to photograph! Megan was laughing and smiling the whole entire time and Travis was so laid back. They were originally scheduled for a Saturday session the weekend I was home visiting Virginia, but it poured the entire day. Luckily a spot opened up for Sunday and I’m glad because I loved photographing these two. Megan and Travis thanks for being up for anything. I’m so lucky that all of my clients are willing to do all of the crazy things I ask of them – like jumping fences! ;) Here are my favorites…

Dana & Eckhart {Engagement} – Clarksville, TN Photographer

I knew Dana and Eckhart were going to be a fun couple because they were laughing within the first five frames I shot of their session! Most couples need a couple of minutes to warm up to the camera but these two worked it from the start (even though they said they weren’t sure what to do!). It was obvious that they completely adore one another. Their little actions from Eckhart kissing Dana on the forehead to Dana touching Eckart’s nose and smiling her sweet smile at him proved just that. We had a great time at Callaway Gardens and I know their wedding will be full of love and adoration, just like these photos show. :)

Dana told me she’s not photogenic. Um, I have to disagree. Holy smokes! :)
