In the midst of busy season I somehow forgot to blog Rebecca and Casey’s maternity session from this Fall. How could I do that?? This is one of my faaaaavorite sessions to date. I loved the locations they chose and their outfits were perfect! Rebecca and Casey are two wonderful people and they’re already amazing parents to their first baby Carter – who’s newborn session I will be blogging right after this post! :) Thank you both for allowing me to capture your sweet family at such a special time in your life!

Emily {Maternity – Twins!} – Clarksville, TN Photographer

Emily is one of my closest friends. We’ve known each other since we were kids (she’s my cousin too!) but became best of friends in high school. She’s been by my side through the moments that matter in life. From singing the entire Brandy cd on the way to the mall, to being a bridesmaid at my wedding, to never leaving my side during the worst time of my life when I lost my Dad last year. I don’t know what I would do without her! And I would be remiss to not mention the other crazy girl in our trio – Deziree. The three of us are “thick as thieves”. :) So when Emily became a mom two years ago to a handsome little boy named Jaron we were ecstatic! It’s been so amazing to watch one of my best friends transform into a mother. Now that she’s gotten motherhood down with Jaron, God decided to bless her with two more handsome boys! That’s right she’s expecting TWINS this time! Landon and Brantley will make their debut in the next month or so and I could not be more excited for Emily, Jaron, and her husband Justin.

Sallye Anne & John are having a baby! – Clarksville, TN Maternity Photographer

When John & Sallye Anne asked me to shoot their maternity photos I have to admit I was a little nervous. It’s always nerve-wrecking photographing other photographers! John and Sallye Anne run John Pyle Photography here in Columbus where John shoots amazing senior modeling portraits. They are expecting their first child – Julie Anne at the end of July. We had entirely too much fun during their session and Sallye Anne even climbed into the crib! Thanks again you guys. Tim and I are looking forward to our session with you all!

I love this baby outfit with their logo! Someone gave it to them as a gift at their shower and Sallye Anne said she about died when she saw it. :)

John wanted some “redneck” photos as a joke of him and Sallye Anne with her cute belly so we dressed them up, gave John a garden hose and a beer and voila! This was just for FUN and this is my favorite one. :)

When Kara asked me to shoot her maternity photos I was thrilled to say the least! She’s on of my best “army wife” friends. We have been lucky enough to have our husbands stationed at the same bases – three times! We feel like we’ve all basically followed each other around from Georgia to Washington and then back to Georgia! It’s awesome to have a friend who knows exactly what I’m going through with this sometimes crazy Army life. :)

Kara and Brandon have the most adorable little boy, Joseph, who was born with perfect timing. Kara was in labor when Brandon stepped off the plane for his 2 week R&R in November 2006. What luck!! :) Thankfully Brandon has been home for this whole pregnancy and they won’t have to worry about him missing the birth of their baby girl Hannah. So here’s a few of my favorites from my shoot with this awesome family (warning – image overload!! haha):

I love this! Kara and Brandon always ask Joseph “Where’s baby deux?” and he will point to her belly or kiss it!

This was the perfect location. I love all the pics I shot with the fence!
