This sweet family is just the best! This was the third time I was lucky enough to photograph them (see here and here) and I got to meet their newest addition precious seven day old little Henry! Trevor and Becky are two of the most patient parents and are raising two lucky children. Thank you both for allowing me to photograph your family again and I’m so happy you love your photos! :)

Rachel is so adorable and always makes some hilarious faces. ;)

Andrea, Matt, and Shane met me on a gorgeous Fall day in Adams, TN. We spent the entire shoot chasing Shane and playing baseball with him. Andrea came prepared with M&M’s and a baseball to bribe Shane into the photos because he wanted to run and play! It’s so funny how kids are super energetic. We were talking about how we wish we all had just some of his energy. :) Andrea and Matt thank you for a fun session (and Matt for missing your game!). I’m glad you love the photos!

Chris & Michelle – Just for Fun {Clarksville, TN Photographer}

Michelle and I have been in contact for over a year about setting up a portrait session for her and her husband Chris. I’ve known Michelle through Facebook and mutual acquaintances and we felt like old friends when we met in person a few weeks ago. She’s been on an amazing weight loss journey and wanted to schedule her session after she made some progress. This girl is dedicated, super sweet, and just an all around good person. Not to mention she looks fabulous after losing 45 pounds!!! What an accomplishment! We talked tonight at her photo viewing about the fact that she worked out at 8am on Thanksgiving day. Dedication. Right there. I met up with Michelle, Chris and their adorable dog Casey in Clarksville and we had a great time on their session. We were jumping hay bails and dodging animal skeletons (yep…you read that right) all in the name of fun and photos! Chris was such a good sport and such a joker! We were all laughing the entire time. Chris & Michelle thank you both for being awesome clients and friends! :)

Amy + Nick – Just for Fun {Clarksville, TN Photographer}

Amy & Nick are so much fun – period! You can not be around these two without laughing. They’re sarcastic and hilarious and that always mixes well with gullible me. We had a great time running around downtown Clarksville for some “just for fun” photos. I met Amy this past Easter at a military wives luncheon and instantly liked her sweet personality. Nick just returned home from a year long deployment to Afghanistan a few months ago. I truly believe the friends I’ve made through the Army are some of the strongest people I know! Amy and Nick thank you for letting me document your love just because. :)

We stopped in front of New South Coffee Company downtown. It’s a fun new coffee shop that just opened!

They ordered a 20×40 canvas of the image below and I cannot wait for it to be hanging on their wall!

Dance off anyone?! We all couldn’t stop laughing at Nick’s moves!

At their viewing Nick said this about the photo below: “If I could sum up our relationship in one photo this would be it!” I love, love, love hearing that!

Kate, Justin, and their beautiful children are an incredible family! They’ve been through 4 deployments and truly define a strong military family. When I met with all six of them I knew we were going to have a fun session! Kate’s one request was to shoot in an alley way for more of an urban feel to their photos. Printers Alley in Nashville made for the perfect spot! It’s gritty, colorful, just plain cool. We finished up the session with ice cream at none other than Mike’s on Broadway! Soon they’ll be moving to Oklahoma soon for a new adventure. Kate is a very talented photographer herself (check out her newborn work – it’s gorgeous!) and I know she’s going to take Oklahoma by storm. :)

One of my best friends (and cousin!) Emily had her twin baby boys! Landon and Brantley were born August 23, 2011 and they are perfect. I was so excited to photograph them especially after photographing Emily’s maternity session. Jaron has settled into the role of big brother well and Emily and Justin are loving their bigger family. Oh these two are too adorable for words! These were taken when they were just 12 days old. :)

We had to take a few with Dad’s college baseball glove.
