Sarah & Jason {11.11.11 Veteran’s Day Wedding}

Sarah and Jason – genuine, kind, funny, sweet, real. These are just a few works that describe these two incredible people! If you’re around them for just five minutes it’s obvious how in love they are. Sarah and Jason lift each other up and in turn lift up those around them. They’ll make you laugh and it’s impossible not to have a good time when they’re around! They are Captains in the Army and both have completed multiple year-long tours overseas to Iraq and Afghanistan. The Army is how they met so it was only fitting they were married on Veteran’s Day. Sarah also jokes that 11.11.11 is an easy anniversary for Jason to remember! ;) They chose to get married in Islamorada, Florida at the gorgeous Pierre’s Restaurant. I had a difficult narrowing down all my favorites so sit back and enjoy because this is one long blog post!

Limestone Films {Lindsey + Cody}

I had the opportunity to work with Robert and Aston of Limestone Films at Lindsey & Cody’s Nashville wedding a few weeks ago. Let me tell you they are amazing! I was impressed right from the start by their professionalism and warm personalities. Today they released the video and I was blown away. They are top notch videographers and I highly recommend them to all of my brides!

Lindsey & Cody {Nashville, TN Wedding Photographer}

Lindsey and Cody – two people who are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. They were married this past Saturday at Scarritt-Bennett’s Wightman Chapel in Nashville, TN. Surrounded by family and friends they pledged their love for one another and then danced the night away at Houston Station. Lindsey & Cody thank you for being amazing people and I hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon in St. Lucia!

Lindsey and Cody chose not to see each other prior to their 7pm ceremony. They exchanged gifts and held hands with a door between them. So sweet!

Is this not the most beautiful bridal party you’ve ever seen?!

The Joel Brown Band did an amazing job entertaining at the reception.

Lindsey is the sister of my good photographer friend (and fellow Alpha Kappa Camera sister!) Shea Halliburton. Lindsey is also my hairdresser and she’s the best in Clarksville. :) I was thrilled when Shea asked me to shoot Lindsey’s wedding! I was able to work alongside of two other fabulous photographers – Sarah B. Gilliam and Cass Moore. Sarah photographed the guys while I worked with the girls hence why you see so many of the girls in this blog post!

Cheryl & Jonathan {Clarksville, TN Wedding}

Cheryl and Jonathan were married on October 30, 2010 at the Madison Street United Methodist Church in Clarksville, TN. They are two incredibly sweet people and if you step back and watch them it’s easy to see how in love they are. Cheryl knew how to work it for the camera and not to mention – she’s gorgeous! Jonathan was in awe of her the entire day and they both were so happy together. I had so much fun photographing their wedding day. Cheryl even made me a pair of purple earrings that I love! Stay tuned because Cheryl’s post wedding bridal session will be on the blog soon!

Cheryl is a fan of zebra print so of course she had to have these shoes. Love them!

Denise & Rob {Nashville, TN Wedding}

When you hear that Denise is a pilot and that she and Rob met on an airplane, you would think she was working, but luckily that wasn’t the case. Denise unknowingly sat next to the man that one day she would marry. They chatted during the flight and Rob ended up with Denise’s number by the time they landed. The rest is history. They decided upon a Nashville wedding since Denise is from Murfreesboro and Rob attended Vanderbilt. I believe they are one of the most laid back couples I’ve ever photographed. I’m not sure how they planned the wedding all the way from their home in New York, NY, but they did and it was simply beautiful! Denise and Rob – thank you for being so sweet and for choosing me to document your wedding day. I wish you both all the best for your future together!

Rob and Denise chose to have a First Look and I love, love, love them for it! The wedding ceremony started at 7pm and they knew there would be no time for natural light photos together if they chose not to see each other before the ceremony. These moments are always so personal and special.

I loved that Rob and Denise wanted photos downtown on Broadway in Nashville. It was crowded but made for some fun photos!

The Cathedral of the Incarnation is gorgeous.

Denise’s father is a beekeeper so they appropriately offered honey as a reception favor along with a candy bar.

The image on the right below was initially a mistake, but I just love the mood of it in black and white.

The band – Burning Las Vegas – was amazing to say the least! I highly, highly recommend them if you’re looking for a high energy performance band!
