When you hear that Denise is a pilot and that she and Rob met on an airplane, you would think she was working, but luckily that wasn’t the case. Denise unknowingly sat next to the man that one day she would marry. They chatted during the flight and Rob ended up with Denise’s number by the time they landed. The rest is history. They decided upon a Nashville wedding since Denise is from Murfreesboro and Rob attended Vanderbilt. I believe they are one of the most laid back couples I’ve ever photographed. I’m not sure how they planned the wedding all the way from their home in New York, NY, but they did and it was simply beautiful! Denise and Rob – thank you for being so sweet and for choosing me to document your wedding day. I wish you both all the best for your future together!
Rob and Denise chose to have a First Look and I love, love, love them for it! The wedding ceremony started at 7pm and they knew there would be no time for natural light photos together if they chose not to see each other before the ceremony. These moments are always so personal and special.
I loved that Rob and Denise wanted photos downtown on Broadway in Nashville. It was crowded but made for some fun photos!

The Cathedral of the Incarnation is gorgeous.
Denise’s father is a beekeeper so they appropriately offered honey as a reception favor along with a candy bar.
The image on the right below was initially a mistake, but I just love the mood of it in black and white.
The band – Burning Las Vegas – was amazing to say the least! I highly, highly recommend them if you’re looking for a high energy performance band!
