Wendy and Andy are one of the sweetest couples ever. I have known them since grade school and yes, they were high school sweethearts! We all knew they would get married and their wedding was absolutely beautiful. Wendy contacted me a few months ago about a portrait session for her adorable little boy Brady since he was getting ready to turn one. I was excited to meet Brady and to see the two of them again. I honestly think the last time I had seen them was at my wedding in 2005. Wendy’s email was so sweet. We discussed having a baby and when to know you’re ready. Wendy said this about Brady and I love it:
“His name is Brady, he was born September 5…7 weeks early…and is the most wonderful thing I have ever done in my whole life! I will not lie to you, having a baby changes your whole life and it’s not all hunky dory easy stuff…it is hard at times. But, it is the biggest blessing God has ever given me…and I am a very blessed person!”
Babies are just that – a blessing! Wendy and Andy thank you for allowing me to photograph your blessing and for being such wonderful people! I hope to see you two again over Christmas! :)

We tried for a few cake shots, but Brady wasn’t feeling it. Wendy said he actually cried at his party over the cake. I’m sure he will come around eventually! :)
