I love tomatoes. I could eat a tomato with every meal, but that might be a little ridiculous! My friend Kara and I went shopping, oh I’d say over a month ago, for flowers and vegetables that we could plant and grow on our own. What’s better than needing a tomato and stepping outside and picking one? :) We unfortunately found out that frosts can occur here through the first week of April. We purchased the plants anyway and decided not to plant them until after then. Well I just got around to planting mine….umm….yesterday! This is my first little garden so I’m hoping it doesn’t fail me. I already had a tomato blooming last week so I knew it was time to get them in the ground. Hopefully the tomatoes, squash, strawberries, and green bell peppers will thrive and my thumb will turn a pretty shade of green! ;)
