Today is my 25th birthday! I used to countdown the days until my birthday (especially my 16th….license baby!) starting about 2 weeks out. Once I hit 21 I pretty much stopped that nonsense. I didn’t want to get any older! It’s funny how as a teenager I wished time away, and now I just want to slow it down. It goes way too fast. Even still my birthday is here and it’s time to celebrate! The day has already started out great. Tim made me blueberry pancakes for breakfast and he got me an awesome Coach purse and Vera Bradley duffel bag that I’ve been eyeing for a while now! We’ll also be celebrating by watching the Virginia Tech Hokies beat Boston College in the ACC Championship game (I sure hope I don’t eat those words later!).
Thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes on my facebook wall and emails! It sure makes a girl feel special. :) And just for fun here’s two pictures of me when I was little. I don’t have very many here (they’re all at my Mom or Dad’s house!) so these will do. Notice the pink jellies in the first photo? I could not live, repeat could not live without those. My Mom says I wore them until my feet absolutely would not fit anymore. haha What can I say? I knew what I liked even then!
