Five years ago today my husband asked me to marry him. It was a sweet proposal and I distinctly remember how nervous he seemed throughout dinner that night. He told me he had a gift for me and reached a small blue satchel across the table. Inside I found a monogrammed bracelet that I had my eye on for months. I remember thinking how incredibly sweet my boyfriend was. I then flipped the bracelet over and it was engraved with the date: 07-19-04. Confused I asked him why he had todays date engraved thinking he wanted me to remember when he gave it to me. He then told me it was so I would remember the day he proposed and then pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him. I immediately started crying and of course said yes! It’s hard to believe that we got engaged five years ago. I would not change it for anything! We were married 6 months later on January 1, 2005. :)

Tim thank you for being such an amazing husband. I love you beyond words. You’re my pillar of strength and I could not live without you. Thank you for loving me unconditionally, for supporting me in my life and business, for always pushing me to succeed, for listening to my hour-long talks without me stopping to take a breath ;), for being my best friend, and for everything you are. I love you!
