Picture this: Almost two weeks ago I’m driving down the road…and I’m driving along, and I’m driving along….then I turn off the road to my neighborhood and proceed to drive a little slower. All of a sudden I hear “pop! guuuuushhhh. bum. bum. bum. bum. bum.” All the while I’m thinking “Great! I just had a tire plugged a week ago! Now another one?!”
In the last three months we have purchased not one, but two new tires and had another tire plugged due to two nails and a bolt finding their way into my treads! The latest incident involved said bolt. I must explain that there has been quite a bit of construction going on around our neighborhood, so I know they are the culprit! Tim on the other had says my constant driving “too close to the right side of the road” and consequently running off of it at times is the problem. Pfff! I disagree. Either way, I’m walking on pins and needles, or should I say driving on nails and bolts, every time I get behind the wheel. I’m paranoid we’ll have to replace more tires! Ahhh….
