Prisock Family

You may recognize this family as they have made quite a few blog appearances in the past! I photographed Kara’s maternity session a few months ago, as well as her little ones many times. She decided that since baby Hannah is now a few months old and Joseph isn’t slowing down anytime soon, it was time for a family session. I loved so many of the images I captured! Kara and Brandon – I had a great time wondering around Columbus with you guys and I can’t wait for our next session! :)

{Note to my fellow photographers – I shot this entire session with my 5D and new 50mm f/1.2 lens. It’s so yummy!}

I looooove this first picture!

Kara you are so beautiful!

Jen Stewart - what an adorable family! You can just feel the love in this family, I love when that shows so clearly in their photos and they are comfortable and natural showing their affection for each other! GREAT JOB Lisette!

lisette - Thanks everyone!! :) @Lysha – I love the 50 1.2. I’ve shot with a friends 85 1.2 for a short period of time and it’s a little slower focusing, but it’s an awesome lens as well. It’s a tough decision! @Lee – I’m so excited for you & Cassie’s wedding and now you’ve got me looking forward to a family session! @ Amanda – I can’t believe it’s been that long since we’ve seen each other. I hope to see you soon too!

Lysha - Lisette, I love your work. Very inspiring. 50mm, huh? …. I’ve been debating on what lens to get next. Would you recommend the 50 over the 85? It would be nice to be able to use ONE lens during a session.

Lee - the 10th pic with the family is awesome. the border/iron really helps capture and sets the pic off perfect. and the 13th is great as well. great looking family. i cant wait for you to shoot ours one day :)

jessica flynn - look at those sweet faces….priceless. i love the one of kara throwing miss hannah up in the air. great job miss lisette!

lisette - @Matt – Thanks! And I loooooove my 50 1.2! You’re welcome to use it on our next group shoot! @Trista – Thanks girl! @Autumn – Thank you! Joseph definitely did not want to sit still! There are very few photos of him looking at the camera. But that’s okay because I like the more natural ones. :)

Autumn Gibson - They make a cute family. I like the last 3 pictures the best, but they’re all really good. Was it hard to get everybody in place? Joseph looks like he’s at that age where he’s never still. :)

Trista - They are such a cute lil’ family! Great job on these. Very cute and unique. :) Love ya!

mjgillespie - you got a 50 1.2? nice… I want one sooo bad. my 85 1.2 is great but it’s just too long..

Great pictures on this session.. I see you went to the run down building on 8th… I love that spot!
